Donate a Classroom Project
Invest in the Filipino Children's Future - Donate to the CGMA Project
The classroom Galing sa Mamamayang Pilipno Abroad Project is a classroom donation campaign initiated and managed by the Philippine Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) as part of its Kabayanihan Program.

Launched on July 27, 2003, the project amplifies DOLE's and its cooperating partners support to the education agenda of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. It aims to raise funds for building classrooms in public schools with acute classroom shortages.

The Department of Education (DepEd) reported in September 2004 that the classroom requirement backlog at the end of the school year 2003-2004 has reached 57,930 classrooms. For school year 2004-2005, 6,101 more classrooms would be needed. The DepEd's goal is to eliminate this backlog and attain an educationally effective classroom-to-pupil ratio of 1:45 by school year 2009-2010.
