Mr Gonzales' art topics are similarly wide ranging and include: semi-abstracts, political (illustrating the power of governments and people), the beauty and power of nature, as well as nudes. Many of his paintings are intriguingly lively, and illustrating a story or theme through colors and subjects in action/motion.

He has exhibited in v various Philippine and International galleries and is well known for his expressionist's artworks on fish. flowers and other animals. His paintings are done in different media and he is most comfortable using acrylic and oil pastels.

Al Perez
Al Perez has a touch that is definitely his own, noted from his meticulous and realistic rendition of old churches. He has recorded every important church in the country. He has completed considerable research and traveling, painting hundreds of churches from one end of the country to the other. He is acknowledged aquarelle master of baroque churches.

The work of Al Perez is not devoted exclusively to churches. His creative realm includes Philippine rural scenes, houses, portraits, nudes and flowers. Many art critics have provided generous praises for the fine, lyrical lines and colors Al incorporates into his paintings, taking note of the artist's superb real treatment of his subject and the romantic element of his artistry.
