| USF Hosts Philippine National Boxing Team |
|
The Philippine National Boxing Team will participate in the International Boxing Invitational, a boxing competition showcasing seven of the Philippine Boxing Team’s Olympic contenders versus the Northern California All-Star boxing athletes on Sunday, 4 November 2007 from 4 to 7 pm at the War Memorial Gymnasium on the University of San Francisco (USF) campus at 2335 Golden Gate Avenue (at Masonic), San Francisco 94117.
Proceeds of the boxing tournament will help support USF’s Yuchengco Philippine Studies Program, the USF Kasamahan student organization, and Ateneo de Manila University for its joint programs in Environmental Science, IDEC, and Philippine Studies with the University of San Francisco.
