GSIS Pensioners Advised to Inquire by Email
Philippine Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) President and General Manager Winston F. Garcia advised GSIS pensioners to email their questions and complaints about their pensions and benefits directly thru pension@gsis.gov.ph.

While the Philippine Consulates welcome written and telephone inquiries from pensioners intended for the GSIS, it is encouraged that emails are sent directly through pension@gsis.gov.ph because GSIS can respond to them faster.

Pensioners who are not familiar with the email can ask their relatives to send their messages for them and to include the pensioner’s full name, contact details and home address in the email, so that the GSIS can still reply to them even if the replies bounce.

According to Mr. Garcia, messages sent to pension@gsis.gov.ph is covered by a GSIS directive requiring all executives and employees to act on questions, requests, complaints, and the likes within 10 working days.

He also said “the GSIS has formed a team that will receive and work on all messages received thru pension@gsis.gov.ph. The team will monitor the 10-working day timeline and the quality of the response the executives and employees give to email senders.”
