The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco recently announced the holding of “Bayan Ko, Bahay Ko 2007” – a Philippine real properties road show in San Francisco at the Fiesta Filipina on June 16-17, 2007 at the Civic Center Plaza.
Now on its 2nd year, “Bayan Ko, Bahay Ko” is a flagship campaign of the Philippine government to promote the Philippines as Asia’s primary real-estate investment and retirement destination. It brings together some of the nation’s top realty developers to different cities in the US in a strengthened public-private sector partnership to provide a venue to promote investment, real-estate products and services. The road show aims to provide a strategic venue for the Filipino American community to establish ties with the Philippines through investment in real estate.
Philippine Consul General to San Francisco Maria Rowena Mendoza Sanchez welcomed the holding of “Bayan Ko, Bahay Ko 2007” as an opportunity for Filipino Americans in the Bay Area and Northern California to have a first hand look at upcoming real-estate developments in the Philippines. “Bayan Ko, Bahay Ko in San Francisco will give Filipinos and Filipino Americans in the area a chance to explore possibilities of investing and buying real-estate properties in the Philippines,” she added.
Bayan Ko, Bahay Ko” is a joint project of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, Philippine Department of Trade and Industry, and the Philippine Department of Tourism and supported by the Philippine Center Management Board, Inc. |
