The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco hosted a “salo-salo” for members of the Filipino-American media in the Bay Area on 16 May 2007 at the Consul General’s residence in San Francisco.

            In attendance to the gathering were representatives from ABS-CBN International, Ang Panahon, Asian Inquirer, Asian Journal, Fil-Am Herald, Filipinas Magazine, Filipino Guardian, Inquirer.net, Philippine News Today, Pinoy Journal USA, Pinoy Today, members of the Philippine-American Press Club, National Press Club, The Islander TV Show and other freelance writers.
