Santos on the Death Of SFPD Officer Nick Tomasito Birco
We
mourn the untimely death of San Francisco Police Department
Officer Nick Tomasito Birco and convey our sincerest condolences
to his family.
Officer Birco was involved in the police exchange program between
the SFPD and the Philippine National Police (PNP). He was born
to a family with a long heritage of military and police service
as well service to the Filipino American community.
We honor his bravery and commitment to his profession. Nick
represented the best of the Filipino American. His death leaves
a void in the San Francisco police force
