FIL-AMS In Union City Donate $1,500 For Leyte Mudslide Victims

The officers of the Filipino-American Association of Alameda
County in Union City, California handed to Consul General Maria
Rowena Mendoza Sanchez on 2 August 2006, a check in the amount
of $1,500.00 for rehabilitation projects and reconstruction
of homes of victims of the mudslides which struck Barangay Ginsaugon
in St. Bernard, Southern Leyte in February this year.
The check will be forwarded to the Philippine National Red Cross
which was chosen by the Association to receive the donation.
The officers of the Fil-Am Association of Alameda County who
generously contributed for the donation include Myrla Raymundo
(President), Roberto Protacio (Vice President), Tessie Gatan
(Secretary), Rodrigo Galindo (Treasurer), Ray Raymundo, Helen
Cabiles, Georgia Megue, Rorie Rabuy, Jun Villorente, Prima Gador,
Greg Lintao and Marlon Manansala (Directors).
